YOGA IN THE WORKPLACE
Step away from the spreadsheet and stretch it out!
High pressure job, slave to your screen, irritable in meetings? Join me for a stress busting, tension releasing transformative session to improve mobility, strength and prevention of injury, AND guaranteed to improve your tolerance OF colleagues!
I specialise in Yoga and wellness sessions for mainly office workers in high pressure jobs AND have clients from various sectors , delivering the physical and mental benefits of yoga through a practical, engaging style.
Yoga isn't all ‘OM’ and forcing yourself into a pretzel! I encourage an inclusive and authentic style with anatomy at the forefront to work with modern bodies which have been forced into incorrect postural alignment due to desk jobs and unsociable hours. The benefits of a regular yoga practice can help relieve tension, in particular during the pressures of jobs which involve travel, extensive physical labour, or just hours at a desk. Burnout is real and we are not differentiating between work and play with work from home impacting on our regular routine.
Perhaps as a manager you are finding your team could do with a little more engagement and productivity and mentally may be struggling with less social time. Yoga can help connect your team in moments of low mood, has countless mental health benefits as well as giving your immune system a quick boost.
If this sounds like something you would like to implement in your wellbeing strategy then get in touch to discuss monthly packages or a one off Wellness event for your company.
“I worked with Emma for over a year whilst at EE. Her lunchtime yoga was enjoyed by myself and a number of the team each week. Not only helping us physically, but also greatly helping our mental wellbeing. It brought people together from different teams, as well as being accessible for people who have never practiced yoga before. The team and I all felt far more energised and grounded in the afternoon after yoga with Emma. I'd recommend Emma to any and all organisations who care about the wellbeing of their teams.”
