Reignite Your Yoga in 2023!

This year - not just for January - I invite you to either reignite, restart or begin a regular yoga or meditation practice. Yoga is an all encompassing practice involving mind, body and spirit. 

Physically we know that with a committed practice we can build towards having a strong and healthy body which will improve joint health, mobility, and improved strength with certain types of yoga. 

By establishing a relationship you will connect your mind to body with movement thus building a better correlation between the two. Call it a moving meditation.

Sometimes we just do things as we are instructed but the more you practice and listen to your bodies reaction, you will discover so much more. You will begin to mentally engage with why you are perhaps feeling a certain sensation and question why that may be happening. We get better at feeling and observing.

More importantly you will build awareness so you can learn to not always push yourself to the max but perhaps respect the body a little and learn to withdraw. This can then be applied to everyday life perhaps learning not to be so reactive to situations and learn to wait, listen and assess before jumping in!
